THE CHALLENGES
Challenge
Silence is an experimental short film created as part of a 48-hour filmmaking challenge. The entire project from concept development and writing to directing, filming, editing, and final delivery was completed independently within just two days. The challenge pushed me to explore an experimental visual and narrative approach while working under intense time constraints, relying on creativity, adaptability, and rapid decision-making throughout the process.
Synopsis
Living alone in her apartment and overwhelmed by isolation, a young woman finds herself trapped within the silence of her daily routine. One evening, as she lies in her bathtub, she decides to dive deeper not into the water, but into herself. As she descends into the depths of her inner world, she confronts memories, emotions, and empty spaces, only to discover that beneath everything lies an endless silence.
